The Beat 007 - Nukewood

The Beat episode seven brings us to one of the busiest men in the industry - Matt Hyniuk, aka Nukewood, aka Matonii.
Matt is the brains behind Sydney based agency One Hit, who are responsible for bringing the likes of Defected, PIV and Michael Bibi to Australian shores.
On top of this they also run the super successful Sydney staple ‘Boogie’ at the Ivy Pool club and are about to launch their new project ‘Above’ at the Ivy Courtyard in collaboration with the Finely Tuned.
Aside from this, Matt has also formed a formidable artist career, both solo and as the duo ‘Matonii’, playing all over the country and abroad with his good friend Anthony Benvenuto.

The Beat 006 - Mike Toner

On the latest edition of The Beat, we sat down with one of the country’s most prolific promoters and all round nice guy, Mike Toner from Thick As Thieves.
Mike has been booking and touring both local and international artists for over a decade, with the likes of Patrick Topping, Claptone and Christoph on his resume. He also has the pleasure of curating lineups for infamous Melbourne nightclub Revolver every Sunday and hosts parties across Australia.
On top of this, he also does extensive charity work and uses his platform to raise funds for the Fred Hollows foundation, a cause that’s very close to his heart.

For this episode of the beat we’re joined by the man with the most infamous beard in dance music - UK superstar DJ and producer, Will Clarke.
Will’s credentials speak for themselves. He’s played at some of the biggest parties and venues on the globe including Elrow, Ants, Space Miami and Ushuauia to name only a few.
On top this,  he has releases on some of the world’s biggest labels including Filth On Acid, Drumcode and Trick.

On this episode of the beat, we chat with Eastern Suburbs based DJ and producer, James Pepper.
James has had a massive few years, smashing shows across the country at monster events including Days Like This and Lost Paradise.
Adding to this, he has played support to a host of the industry’s biggest names including Peggy Gou, Fjaak and Maceo Plex.
