The Beat 025 - Stacie Fields

Next up on the beat is homegrown favourite, Stacie Fields.
Stacie has been a staple of Sydney's scene for a number of years, tastefully evolving over time from house and disco to minimal and deep tech sounds.
She has an outstanding track record, having played at some of Australia's biggest events and festivals including the highly coveted Harbourlife, SASH Sundays and Fisher's Out 2 Lunch festival in Queensland earlier this year.

For this episode of the beat, we got to chat with UK house sensation Paige Tomlinson.
 
A product of the roaring underground music scene of the North, the Liverpudlian has secured her position as a serious one-to-watch.
 
Between winning Defected Records’ ‘Unsung Heroes’ competition, a release on Archie Hamiltons esteemed label ‘Microhertz’ and a run of high profile shows across the UK and Europe over the last 18 months including Warehouse Project and Hide and Seek Festival, it’s safe to say the future is looking bright for her.
 
We were lucky enough to host Paige at one of our SWITCH parties in May and the energy in the room was incredible.

The Beat 023 - PARKER

For this episode of the beat, we sat down with Manchester born, Sydney adopted artist, PARKER.
Since moving to Aus from the UK, PARKER has become part of the fabric of our scene, playing at some of the country’s biggest events including SASH, Sub Sonic and Ultra.
His label DOOZIE RECORDS, launched in 2023, has been making serious waves in the house and UKG scene, with a slew of big releases from artists like Wodda, Ozzie Guven and Casey Spillman, with support for the tunes coming from no other than UK house legend Enzo Siragusa.Listen in as we hear about Parker’s journey from a punter at Sankey’s Manchester to becoming a staple act on the other side of the world.

The next episode of The Beat features good friend of ours,  Birmingham’s own Ryan Resso.
Ryan is the mastermind behind extremely popular Wyld label and has seen a meteoric rise in recent years as one of the biggest names in the UK’s underground minimal & tech house scene. Meanwhile, his music has garnered support from industry heavyweights including Archie Hamilton, Prunk and East End Dubs - with releases on Microhertz, PIV, Deeperfect and more.

For this edition of The Beat, we Sat down with Aus dance legend, WONGO.
Larger than life DJ/producer WONGO has been a leading pioneer of the Australian dance music scene over the last 20 years.
A long a decorated career has seen him take centre stage at some of the world’s most infamous events, playing in over 26 cities in the US and gracing festivals including EDC and Lost Paradise. Throw in a slew of successful releases with his own labels and a juggernaut brand ‘NEED2FREAK’ - which he started alongside good friend Little Fritter, and you’ve got yourself a bona-fide star.

For this instalment of The Beat, we caught with UK house legend, Ben Rau.Originally from Berlin, Ben has been a part of the industry for over two decades, with his talents taking him from bedroom DJ to esteemed taste maker and world renowned producer.Ben has had a successful slew of releases on labels including Knee Deep In Sound, Easternderz, Moxy Muzik and Microhertz to go with multiple #1’s on his own imprints Inkal and Meta.

For this episode of The Beat we caught up with our good friend, Luke Dean.Luke has been on absolute tear over the last 18 months, gaining recognition for his music from the industry’s most esteemed figures and selectors including Archie Hamilton, East End Dubs and Alisha to name a few.
His viral track “Get Hard” rose to the top of the Beatport charts and amassed over 5 million streams in just five months, to go along side his colossal releases on labels Microhertz, South, Belief and cousin Max Dean’s imprint Nexup

The Beat 018 - Cassette

For this episode of The Beat, we sat down with Sydney house music legend, Cassette. After cutting her teeth in the industry working behind the scenes for one of the country’s biggest festival promoters, Cass’ progression to becoming one of the most well respected and versatile acts in the country was seamless. Over the last 15+ years, she has fostered and impressive resume of shows including Days Like This festival and SASH breakfast domestically, while taking on some of the world’s most infamous clubs including Sisyphos Berlin and Cafe Del Mar Ibiza.
